One Punch Man Season 3 Release Date & Promo Trailer

The 100% rated on rotten tomatoes anime series One Punch Man is no unknown to anyone. Since its release in 2015, the Japanese based superhero franchise instantly became a personal favourite with its refreshing humour and action-packed direction.

This popularity of the show eventually lead to it being renewed for another season yet still the fans await desperately for any news regarding One Punch man season 3 arrival. Saitama’s fans are still hooked to his quirks and without another season they would fail to know whether a possible opponent of his stands or not. The only other way to find this out would be to read the novel series the anime is based on which is not as much of an entertaining experience for many as watching the series and they would rather prefer to live out in hopes of another sequel.

Thus, in this article we will determine based on facts and figures whether the anime series fans should still look up to any more possible victories of Saitama or they are barely hoping for the impossible now.

Behind any show getting a sequel, a number of factors have to be achieved for the production house to be encouraged to work towards it. Based on these aspects, we shall now conclude the possibility of One Punch Season 3 being premiered.

The fan base of any anime series play a vital role behind it getting a sequel. The fact that One Punch Man was renewed for a season two tells us enough that the audience response towards the series was well received. Google trends , social media profiles and the manga sales can assist in helping us determine the popularity of an anime series.

The official website of One Punch Man has been kept up-to date with latest updates and news for the fans. Its official twitter handle supporting 170K followers also tweets almost every other day with comic series updates and interacts with the fans actively.

Even though the Google trends show that a drop of almost 30-40% occurred with the launch of One Punch Man’s season 2, the fan base still has held considerable amount of support and devtion towards the anime series.

The manga written by ONE on which OMP is based on has sold over 20K copies till 2019. It also won the Sugoi Japan Award in 2017 while staying on the Manga best seller lists for over two weeks. Even though the season two of the series didn’t exclusively add to its manga’s fame, it failed to considerably drop its sales either.

Often an anime sequel is dropped due to low funding and profits made. A good quality anime series takes up-to three million dollars to be produced and hence should do well to make up for this immense investment.

OPM season one sold around 10K but with its season two witnessed a major drop with only 1300 copies sold. The manga sales of OPM has been largely maintained with its latest volume selling over 600K copies while over 20 million copies being sold as a whole in 2019.

The merchandise of the anime series has over 800 products with 85 figures available for the fans. This seems to be doing exceptionally well while the One Man Punch recently announced two game series for both iOS and android sold around 10K copies in Japan which is barely sufficient when compared to its high rated fame.

Certain aspects of revenue generation for the OMP franchise like streaming, manga sales and merchandise seem to be doing amazing and earning maximum profit but its game and Blu-ray sales did contribute to a little loss for the ONE franchise.
